COURSE INTRODUCTION
At Korrnell, students learn a great variety of subjects and concepts all in English. English can be quite difficult for some children, however, our ELL After-School Program aims to support students who need more practice and are willing to learn more.
Instead of looking for a cram school or looking for an expensive tutor, you should consider joining the ELL After-School Program,as it is a better way to save both time and money.
The classes run daily from 5pm to 6pm. We follow the school syllabus and focus on social studies, science,grammar, and reading. We target the areas that students are having trouble with. This can include reintroducing vocabulary, reviewing certain concepts, and providing review resources and materials.

Social Studies (G1, G2)
Our program is designed to engage and challenge students through interactive lessons and hands-on activities. We cover a range of topics, from ancient civilizations to current events, and strive to make learning about the world around us enjoyable and meaningful. Not only will your child learn about social studies, but they will also develop critical thinking skills and become more active and informed members of their community. Science (G1, G2, G3, G4)
Students polish their conceptual skills learnt in Science at school. They also get to practice more for the learned vocabulary and concepts, and perform inquiries at school. Various interesting activities will be used to improve students’ understanding of the concepts.
Grammar (G1, G2)
Grammar lessons are important for the learning and development of elementary children. We help them to improve their overall language skills, including their reading and writing abilities. Good grammar skills are essential for effective communication, and it can also improve children's confidence and performance in school. By providing remedial grammar lessons, ELL teachers can help children to better understand and use the rules of language, which is an important foundation for future learning.
Reading (G1, G2, G3, G4)
In this class students focus on discussing and understanding what they are reading, not just pronouncing the words correctly but answer all reading related questions completely, while increasing your reading skills and understanding the meaning of all those difficult vocabulary words.

6-8點晚餐及作業指導班開放家長於6-8點任何時段自由接送孩子。請家長經由警衛通知作業指導班老師，老師將讓學生步行至校門口讓家長帶回，還請家長配合。
帶領G1-G4 的學生進行Writing、Reading、Grammar、Science、Conversation、Social Studies的探索和學習，透過多元的教學方式，增加孩子學習的興趣，同時也加強英語基礎，領先學習！
給孩子們一個安靜的作業環境，班上會有老師可詢問作業問題，鼓勵孩子們自主學習，完成每日回家作業。
康乃薾中小學廚房將會在該時段準備晚餐，供孩子們享用（不需額外付費）。

STAR Academy 才藝班透過多元的休閒運動活動的方式促進孩子的健康和品格教育，培養出全方位的末來領䄂人才。STAR Academy提供各種活動，包括足球、籃球、直排輪、舞蹈，音樂，藝術等等！
週末課程為雙語教學並由外師指導，透過才藝課程的體驗也同時可以增強英文基礎和體驗歐美的運動文化。
